YORK, MAINE - CUSTOM HOME THEATER

LOCATED IN SOUTHERN MAINE, THIS 200-YEAR-OLD HOME PRESENTED AN EXCITING BLEND OF CHALLENGES AND POSSIBILITIES FOR ATLANTIC AV. The client had a distinct vision for a warm, inviting, yet meticulously detailed custom home theater space. The chosen room was initially an exercise room, posing challenges with its unconventional shape and large windows that the homeowner wished to preserve for exterior aesthetics.

Our skilled team embarked on a comprehensive transformation to meet the client's requirements. Walls were built, the design was adjusted to accommodate the roofline, and the orientation was flipped 180 degrees to incorporate a concession area and ensure proper entry into the home theater. Over several months, Atlantic AV meticulously installed an impressive array of equipment, addressing every item on the client's checklist.

To complete this immersive experience, the furniture from Salamander's Olivia seating line was selected. Custom-built leather tiles, crafted from the same high-quality leather as the Salamander seats, were incorporated. Perfecting the ambiance and aesthetics, QMotion shades and Color Beam lighting solutions with RGB Color Change low-voltage LED were implemented. Additionally, our team provided in-house custom woodworking to harmonize the overall design.
